CPSC initiated APACC in December 2004 in Seoul, Republic of Korea and representatives from seventeen (17) member governments signified their commitment to establish a regional body for accreditation and certification of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions. The core principle of APACC Accreditation and Certification initiative is to harmonize the quality of TVET, standardize skills taught in TVET institutions in the region, and facilitate greater mobility of workforce in Asia and the Pacific region.

This program is specifically designed for you to understand accreditation as a tool for improving the quality of TVET institutions; and equip you with the skills on how to undertake actual accreditation process using the APACC criteria. The program is also intended to validate the effectiveness of the improved APACC instrument. We hope that the program would not only be beneficial for you but also for the continuous improvement of quality of TVET institutions based on your outputs and experiences shared.
